Deputy Governor of Makkah Chairs Hajj and Umrah Committee Meeting
Under the directives of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz chaired a meeting of the committee to to review seasonal operations and future preparations.
Prince Saud commended the successful coordination of the Ramadan Umrah season, attributing its smooth execution to the leadership's extensive resource allocation. He urged all entities to intensify efforts and enhance integration as preparations begin for the upcoming Hajj season.
The committee reviewed performance outcomes from Ramadan, noting the successful delivery of transportation, healthcare, and ambulance services with no reported epidemics or major incidents. Discussions also covered the departure phase of pilgrims via King Abdulaziz International Airport and the completion of the first and second upgrade phases of the Hajj and Umrah Terminal Complex.
The meeting also addressed readiness plans and key performance indicators for the 1447 AH Hajj season to ensure optimal operational scenarios.
