King Abdulaziz Camel Festival's Cultural Camp Opens Window onto Heritage

The cultural camp at the ninth King Abdulaziz Camel Festival provided visitors and tourists with an opportunity to explore the beauty of the desert and its rich cultural heritage, creating an experience that beautifully blends tradition and modernity.

 The camp offered a variety of activities that helped participants get immersed in the essence of desert life, such as camel riding, Saudi coffee preparation, and sessions informing about camel breeding, and highlighting the significance of this animal to the Kingdom's cultural identity.

 A notable activity was an Arabic calligraphy competition, where visitors can write their names with guidance from experts.

 Camel Club's culture department Director Turki Al-Manea said that the cultural camp connects the past with the present, and that it offers a comprehensive experience showcasing the Kingdom's heritage and authenticity. He also said that the events attracted various foreign tourists who enjoyed the experiences involving camels.

 The camp also featured a cultural exhibition that shared stories about the history of Saudi Arabia and its cultural heritage. The exhibition drew over 1,500 visitors, and reflects the vision of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, which is to promote the national cultural identity and share with local and international audiences, seamlessly combining entertainment with education.
