Saudi Arabia Distributes Iftar Meals, Dates and Copies of the Quran in Malaysia during Ramadan

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance held an official ceremony to implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for hosting iftar, distributing dates, and gifting copies of the Holy Quran in Malaysia. The event took place at the religious attaché office at the Saudi Embassy in Malaysia, attended by Ambassador Musaed Al-Saleem and Deputy Mufti of Selangor State Datuk Dr. Miszairi Bin Sitiris.
 The program is expected to provide iftar meals for over 8,000 fasting individuals across Malaysia. Additionally, five tons of dates will be distributed, benefiting approximately 20,000 people in various cities and Islamic centers.
 Ambassador Al-Saleem emphasized that this initiative reflects the Saudi leadership’s commitment to serving Muslims worldwide and strengthening cooperation with Islamic nations. The program will cover mosques, universities, and religious centers across Malaysia.
 Malaysian Minister of Religious Affairs Datuk Setia Dr. Mohd Na'im bin Mokhtar praised the Kingdom’s humanitarian and advocacy efforts, highlighting the role of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in promoting moderation, balance, and unity among Muslims through charitable programs.
