Red Sea Museum Launches Science, Innovation Summer Camp

The Red Sea Museum has launched a five-day science and innovation summer camp that will run through August 29. The interactive educational program targets children aged 10 to 14 and introduces them to marine science, engineering, programming, robotics, and environmental research through hands-on activities.
 The camp combines scientific research, practical experiments, engineering design, programming, and museum exploration. Participants engage in activities that simulate the work of researchers, engineers, and innovators. They also explore the Red Sea’s ecosystems, biodiversity, and maritime heritage while learning about key environmental challenges facing the region.
 At the conclusion of the camp, participants will present their projects and prototypes to their families, museum staff, facilitators, and guests. They will share research findings and scientific experiments and demonstrate innovative solutions. The experience aims to build their confidence and develop scientific communication and teamwork skills.
 The summer camp forms part of the Red Sea Museum’s efforts to provide interactive educational experiences that connect scientific knowledge with maritime heritage and the local environment. It also gives young people an opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and innovation through hands-on learning.
