
39 Projects Open for Feedback through Istitlaa Public Consultation Platform
The National Competitiveness Center’s (NCC) Public Consultation Platform (Istitlaa) has put forward 39 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 12 government bodies, the NCC invited the general public, government entities, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.
The Transport General Authority has presented two key projects on the platform: the ‘Executive Regulation for Delivery Service Activities,’ which aims to ensure service providers comply with the Road Transport System, as well as the ‘Executive Regulation for Goods Transport Activities Using Mechanical Bicycles for Commercial Purposes,’ which is designed to improve efficiency, and to organize transport activities. Public feedback on the delivery service project is open until July 29, 2025, while input on the goods transport project will be accepted until August 1, 2025, both via the Istitlaa platform.
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled ‘Agricultural Records Guide.’ The project aims to provide a certificate that enables the beneficiary or agricultural investor to benefit from all the services offered by the ministry and related entities. Public consultation on this project will remain open until July 29, 2025.
The Saudi Water Authority is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled ‘Guidelines for Water and Wastewater Service Provisions.’ The project aims clarify the rights and responsibilities of water service providers and customers. Public consultation on this project will remain open until August 1, 2025.
The Ministry of Health is inviting public feedback on a new project titled ‘Amending the Executive Regulations of the Private Health Institutions System.’ The project aims to update the requirements that must be met by private health facilities. Feedback on this project will be accepted until August 16, 2025.
The introduction of draft regulations, by-laws, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. Likewise, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
