Nuqsh Initiative Empowers 70 Saudis to Join Top 50 Global Universities
The non-profit organization Nuqsh has successfully empowered Saudi youth to achieve their academic aspirations, enabling 100 students to enroll in prestigious global universities, including 70 who were admitted to the top 50 institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Columbia University, and Stanford University.
The organization has launched several pioneering programs, notably an intensive mentoring program for high school seniors and a guidance program supported by the Misk Foundation. It has also organized competitions aimed at fostering innovation and developing sustainable solutions.
Founded in 2017 as a youth-led initiative by students admitted to renowned global universities, Nuqsh was inspired by their experiences representing Saudi Arabia in international competitions, such as the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). The founders embraced the spirit of volunteerism in Saudi Vision 2030, transforming their experiences into a platform to support aspiring peers.
Since 2019, Nuqsh has expanded its reach to all regions of the Kingdom, offering workshops and comprehensive mentoring programs for students from middle school through high school.
Today, Nuqsh comprises a team of over 80 mentors and volunteers, all graduates of global universities, who have supported more than 14,000 students over the past three years.
