Craftsmen's Corner at the Jazan Winter Festival Draws Visitor
The Craftsmen's Corner at Irth Village, one of the attractions at the Jazan Winter Festival, provided visitors with an opportunity to learn about the region's legacy and traditional and artistic handicrafts at its many pavilions where professions such as leather tanning, and pottery, could be observed at the village's headquarters in the Jizan Waterfront.
Craftsmen and craftswomen invested in the leather and tanning industry and came up with creative works representing the region's heritage, and environmental and cultural landmarks.
Visitors could learn about heritage professions in the Craftsmen's Corner, including weaving, making ornaments, handicrafts, sewing, embroidery, and making traditional clothes. They could also watch displays on screens of these professions, which use simple tools, raw materials, and natural materials derived from the region's ancient heritage.
