Grand Mufti of Egypt: King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing Holy Quran Reflects the Kingdom's Care for Islam and Muslims

The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam, commended the Kingdom's pioneering role in upholding and promoting the teachings of the Quran, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. He also acknowledged Saudi Arabia's support and encouragement for young Muslims to participate in Quran memorization and recitation competitions.
 In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Egyptian Grand Mufti asserted that this event is a "blessed international Islamic gathering" where Muslims from all over the world come together to convey a message of tolerance, peace and moderation via Islam.
 Additionally, the Grand Mufti praised the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for their efforts in ensuring the success of the competition's activities and the inclusivity demonstrated through the participation of various countries, further emphasizing the extraordinary nature of the event as a platform for Quran memorization.
