His Excellency Eng. The exhibition features the participation of more than 446 entities and companies from 34 countries, including 11 official national pavilions, showcasing the latest technologies, solutions, and innovations in plant, animal, and fish production. The event reflects the remarkable progress of Saudi Arabia’s agricultural sector and its growing contribution to enhancing food security and achieving self-sufficiency in many crops and agricultural products, thereby supporting the sustainability of food production in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Riyadh Exhibitions Company, stated that the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition represents a vital platform for exchanging expertise and ideas among all stakeholders in the agricultural sector, by showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations to boost agricultural production and transform food systems. He added that the growing climate and environmental challenges require innovative and diligent work to develop sustainable solutions that preserve natural resources and contribute to sustainable development.

HRH Prince Saud further noted that the strong international participation in this year’s edition reflects the exhibition’s global standing as a platform that brings together expertise and fosters collaboration in the fields of agriculture, food, and sustainability. He emphasized that agriculture is a vital mission that contributes to building a prosperous society and a sustainable economy, and that this exhibition serves as a launchpad for new ideas and promising projects that will shape the future of agriculture in the Kingdom and beyond.

Following the opening ceremony, His Excellency toured the exhibition, which features diverse sectors including plant production, farm and nursery management, organic and agricultural foods, poultry, livestock, dairy, feed, milling, aquaculture and its technologies, food processing and packaging, animal health, veterinary services, innovation and entrepreneurship, and workforce development.

During the event, the Minister witnessed the signing of 28 agreements and memoranda of understanding worth over SAR 3.6 billion among entities from the public, semi-governmental, and private sectors — the latter being a key partner in implementing numerous investment projects. Several global agricultural companies also signed agreements, further supporting the food and agriculture sector and driving economic growth. The Minister also inaugurated the Agricultural Innovation Center, aimed at leading sustainable agricultural innovation in the Kingdom, achieving self-sufficiency, and ensuring optimal utilization of natural resources.

The Saudi Agriculture Exhibition aims to advance the Kingdom’s economic priorities, with a strong focus on food security and sustainability, while showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in plant, animal, and fish production. The event underscores the sector’s significant transformation and its increasing contribution to economic growth, with the sector’s GDP contribution rising to SAR 119 billion in 2024, and expected to reach around SAR 140 billion by 2030.

The exhibition is accompanied by the International Future of Agriculture Summit, which highlights issues of food security and sustainability with the participation of local and international speakers and global experts who will exchange insights and innovative solutions to support ambitious national plans in agriculture and food sustainability. The event will also host the 13th International Food Processing and Packaging Exhibition, the 7th International Aquaculture Exhibition, and the 30th International Food Products and Technologies Exhibition.

Organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd., the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition builds on more than four decades of leadership in serving the Kingdom’s agricultural sector, solidifying its position as the premier agricultural event in the region.
