KSrelief to Support Orphans in Earthquake-Affected Areas of Syria
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement via video conference on Sunday with a civil-society organization to support orphan care and economic empowerment in the earthquake-affected areas of northwestern Syria.
The agreement aims to provide monthly cash allowances to support 1,000 orphaned children in the town of Jindires and Aleppo Governorate to help enhance their resilience in the face of daily challenges.
Moreover, it will economically empower 400 women foster mothers by providing in-kind grants and vocational training related to the labor market.
This initiative is part of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to care for orphans and improve their living conditions in Syria.
