Darah Hosts Dialogue Sessions on Camel Heritage at King Abdulaziz Camel Festival

King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) held yesterday two insightful dialogue sessions, accompanying the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Al-Sayahid, northeast of Riyadh, aiming to promote camel heritage as a cornerstone of Saudi cultural identity, and strengthen the Kingdom's position as a global center for cultural heritage.

 One session explored the enduring relationship between camels and humans, tracing their deep connection throughout history. Discussion focused on the pivotal role camels have played in the daily life of Arabs, and their prominent presence in proverbs and folklore.

 The other session delved into the rich tapestry of camels in language and literature. Participants examined the cultural, literary, and linguistic aspects associated with camels in Arab heritage, highlighting their significant impact on Arabic poetry and literature.
