Saudi Air Connectivity Program Participates in Super Terminal Expo 2024 in Hong Kong
Executive Director of the Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP) Majid Khan participated on Friday in the Super Terminal Expo 2024, held concurrently with the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) Airline Leader Summit Asia in Hong Kong.
During his participation, Executive Director Khan highlighted that the program has facilitated the entry of 12 new airlines into the Saudi market for 2024, launched 22 new routes, and added two million seats. He noted that ACP plays a vital role in achieving Saudi Arabia’s strategic tourism goals, which aim to attract 150 million tourists by 2030.
Launched in 2021 to boost tourism, ACP aims to strengthen air links between Saudi Arabia and global destinations by developing both existing and potential routes. Serving as the executive enabler of the National Tourism Strategy and the National Aviation Strategy, the program fosters collaboration and partnerships between key players in the public and private sectors in tourism and aviation, positioning the Kingdom as a leading global destination for air connectivity.
