Saudi Media Captures World’s Health Transformation at Global Health Exhibition 2025

The Global Health Exhibition 2025 was an exceptional event uniting thought and achievement, science and media, and the present and the future. It went beyond a conventional health gathering, serving as a national and global showcase vividly captured by Saudi media, reflecting the power of words and images in capturing the Kingdom’s and the world’s ongoing health transformation at a time of rapid strides toward smarter, more sustainable, and higher-quality health systems that serve humanity.

From the start, Riyadh appeared as a global capital of both health and health media, shining with a high-level presence and broad international participation. Cameras and media platforms documented every moment of the cultural activity, placing the Kingdom at the heart of global influence.

Event halls buzzed with dialogue, exhibitions thrived with innovation, corridors displayed cutting-edge technology, and media platforms shared insights and visions, transforming Riyadh into an open stage for global communication that mirrors the image of a modern, forward-looking Saudi Arabia, all in a comprehensive health landscape.

This year’s exhibition recorded a 1,500% increase in visitor numbers compared to the first exhibition in 2017, while the number of participating brands rose by 600%, reflecting its rapid rise as a regional and international hub for health, innovation, and investment.

The exhibition featured participation from over 2,000 brands representing leading global and local companies, alongside major national institutions. It served as a global platform for health, economics, and media, gathering more than 620 speakers from over 25 countries, including leading healthcare sector figures, government officials, investors, and innovators. The media played a pivotal role in broadening dialogue, documenting experiences, and showcasing success stories emerging from Saudi Arabia, embodying the concept of “health media diplomacy.”

On the partnerships front, business-to-business (B2B) agreements multiplied sixfold compared to last year, while the value of launches jumped from SAR20 billion in 2023 to SAR124 billion in 2025, bringing the total value of agreements and launches announced during the eighth edition to SAR133 billion, a figure underscoring the Saudi health sector’s outstanding economic status.

More than 60% of the agreements of this year’s edition were signed between private-sector entities, reflecting the expanding role of health investment and the dynamic transformation the Kingdom is driving in this vital field.

Highlighting the synergy between health vision and media message, Saudi media emerged as a powerful soft force supporting health transformation. The Ministry of Media launched the “Media Bridge” initiative, a vital platform connecting national media institutions and participating health organizations, to serve as a channel of knowledge exchange that conveys Saudi experiences, innovations, and expertise to the world, in a language that embodies the Kingdom’s vision for a more aware and advanced health future.
