Two Students from Qassim Region Win Gold Medals at ITEX 2024

Two students from the Ministry of Education's branch in Qassim Region won two gold medals at the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) held on May 16 and 17 in Malaysia.

 Mishari Al-Harbi won the gold medal for his project “Developing Wireless LoRaWAN Network for Enhanced Water Leak Detection”, in information technology, communication, and multimedia field.

 Dana Al-Ayaf won the gold medal for her project “The Hydrogenation of Biomass-Derived Furfural Using Zeolite Catalyst toward Sustainable and Clean Fuel Production” in the energy field.

 Director of the ministry's branch in Qassim Mohammed Al-Fraih said that this achievement is one of many the students in Qassim have accomplished at local and global competitions in various fields.
