First Vice President of Iran: The Israeli Occupation Disregards Humanitarian Law and Principles, Disrespects UN Charter

Islamic Republic of Iran First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref affirmed on Monday that the Israeli occupation disregards humanitarian laws and principles and does not respect the United Nations Charter, stressing that its crimes must be halted.
His remarks came during his participation in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit held on Monday in Riyadh.
First Vice President Aref indicated that a ceasefire must be implemented in Gaza and Lebanon and that international coordination is necessary to distribute essential humanitarian aid. He also called for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, emphasizing the importance of taking deterrent measures against the daily massacres committed by the Israeli occupation.
