Saudi Scouts Launch 73 Volunteer Opportunities for 1447 AH Hajj Season

The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has launched 73 specialized volunteer opportunities as part of its public service camps in Makkah, the holy sites, and Madinah for the 1447 AH Hajj season. The initiative aims to strengthen volunteerism and empower youth to serve pilgrims through programs aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for human development and community participation.
According to the camps’ volunteer committee, the opportunities target more than 5,000 male and female volunteers across 20 camps, generating over 550,000 volunteer hours while developing leadership, organizational, technical, and educational skills.
The opportunities span scout experience management, digital media, safety and risk management, event operations, environmental sustainability, technical support, and quality-of-life initiatives. Programs also include preserving surplus food to reduce waste and first-aid support services.
The association said the initiatives promote leadership, national responsibility, and humanitarian values while enhancing services for pilgrims.
