International Delegations Commend Saudi Hosting of Fire and Rescue Championship

Heads and members of several international delegations participating in the 2025 World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport in Riyadh expressed their gratitude for the Kingdom's hospitality and excellent organization during a press conference held today.

 Delegation members from the Czech Republic voiced their delight at being in the Kingdom for the first time, praising the warm welcome and the outstanding organization. They confirmed that the weather in Riyadh is ideal and that their athletes thoroughly enjoyed the experience, commending the Saudi athletes for their strong performance and high competitive standards.

 Similarly, the Azerbaijani delegation expressed its appreciation for the impressive organization, noting that their team had prepared with intensive training for a full year. They described the opening ceremony and the overall organization as reflecting a high level of professionalism, calling the entire experience novel and fruitful.

 The Cameroonian delegation also praised the high level of professionalism and emphasized the excellent atmosphere and sportsmanship of the competition, adding that the participating teams are in great physical condition and striving to achieve new records.

 The World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport is organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, in partnership with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, with the core aim of strengthening international cooperation and exchanging expertise in the fields of safety and rescue.
