Makkah Chamber Discusses Cooperation, Investment Opportunities in Tourism, Hotel Sectors with Thai Consul

Secretary-General of Makkah Chamber of Commerce Dr. Thamer Baazeem met yesterday with Consul General of Thailand in Jeddah Banpoth Ujjin to discuss aspects of cooperation and review investment opportunities in several promising economic sectors, contributing to enhancing economic partnerships and supporting development in Makkah.

 During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in tourism, hotels, jewelry, and alternative medicine sectors, in addition to reviewing the investment potential enjoyed by Makkah and the opportunities available to investors amid the rapid developmental and economic momentum witnessed by the Kingdom, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

 Talks during the meeting also went over the participation of Makkah Chamber of Commerce in Halal Conference scheduled to be held in Thailand and ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two sides, supporting business growth and opening new horizons for economic partnerships in various sectors of mutual interest.
