
Saudi, Australian Education Ministers Discuss Strategic Cooperation
Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan met with his Australian counterpart Jason Clare to discuss building strategic cooperation in education and scientific research.
The two ministers discussed several key areas, including university twinning programs to enhance academic and research exchanges, and student and faculty exchange programs to share knowledge and expertise. They also focused on scientific research and innovation, particularly in priority fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and health sciences.
Additionally, the ministers addressed investment opportunities within the Saudi education sector, highlighting the major transformations driven by Saudi Vision 2030, and explored the possibility of attracting Australian educational institutions to open branches and specialized centers in the Kingdom.
