Interior Ministry Confirms Sustained Care and Loyalty to Martyrs’ Families during Hajj Season

The Ministry of Interior, through the Agency for Military Affairs, continues to support the families of martyrs and injured personnel through a humanitarian program that reflects the leadership's commitment to loyal citizens.

 A key example is enabling relatives of martyrs and injured personnel to perform Hajj this year at the ministry’s expense, along with the psychological, medical, and social care they receive year-round.

 One of this year’s beneficiaries, Ibrahim bin Abdulkarim Al-Zahrani—injured in the line of duty and a brother of two martyrs—expressed from Mina his pride in the Kingdom’s unwavering support. He affirmed that such care reassures them that the nation stands by their side and gives them strength to continue giving.

 He added that the ministry’s efforts, under the direct supervision of Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, are not merely support, but a message of loyalty that reflects the state's appreciation for the sacrifices of martyrs and its commitment to their families.

 Chief Sergeant Salem Al-Qahtani of the General Department for the Care of Martyrs and Injured Families recounted his 14-year journey in serving this group, noting that their bond with the families is deep and familial.

 “We have followed the children of the martyrs since their early years, watching them grow—some are now our colleagues, while others are performing Hajj through this ongoing program under the leadership’s close supervision,” he said.

 The department develops programs for beneficiaries, foremost of which is enabling them to perform Hajj at the expense of the Ministry of Interior. This reflects the ministry’s commitment to honoring those who gave their lives for the nation and to continuing care for their families. It also embodies the leadership’s consistent approach to supporting loyal citizens and to affirming that the sacrifices of martyrs will always be honored and remembered.
