KSrelief Concludes Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Volunteer Medical Project in Poland
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its volunteer medical project to provide prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation for Ukrainian refugees in Rzeszow, Poland.
During the project, which ran from December 8 to 15, a medical team from KSrelief provided 64 services to 32 beneficiaries, including the fitting of prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation. Males constituted 60% of the beneficiaries, while females made up 40%. The team also introduced a new level of innovation to humanitarian work by utilizing the Direct Socket technology in prosthetics for the first time.
This project aligns with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts led by KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of those in need worldwide, particularly those who have lost limbs.
