Internal Auditors Authority Announces Riyadh’s Readiness to Host 2027 IIA International Conference
The Saudi Authority for Internal Auditors is participating in the 2026 IIA International Conference, which opened today in Singapore, to present a range of specialized topics and Saudi experiences in advancing the internal audit profession, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing global presence and its role in shaping the future of the field.
The delegation includes three speakers who will deliver sessions on artificial intelligence in internal auditing, strengthening the role of internal audit within organizations, and highlighting Saudi Arabia’s experience and global standing in the profession.
At the conclusion of the conference, it will be announced that Riyadh is prepared to host the 2027 edition, reflecting the international professional community’s confidence in the Kingdom’s organizational capabilities and its ability to attract and host major global forums.
The conference is the world’s largest gathering for the internal audit profession, bringing together experts and practitioners to discuss key trends, including artificial intelligence, automation, and cybersecurity. The 2025 edition in Toronto saw record Saudi participation of 170 professionals, during which Saudi Arabia won the bid to host the 2027 event.
