IMCTC Highlights Intellectual Initiatives to Enhance Cooperation with Member States
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) organized a meeting today at its headquarters in Riyadh to showcase several intellectual initiatives planned for implementation in member states. IMCTC Secretary General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, along with representatives of member states, attended the meeting.
During the event, the coalition introduced the Idmaj (Integration) Initiative. Director of the Intellectual Administration at IMCTC Dr. Mansour Al-Qarni highlighted that the initiative aims to leverage success stories and best global practices by establishing a model program focused on the psychological, social, and religious rehabilitation of individuals affected by extremism.
The initiative encompasses training and capacity-building programs for professionals in the field, along with specialized consultation services and training courses designed to create a comprehensive rehabilitation and reintegration program.
This effort aligns with the coalition's intellectual and media initiatives in combating terrorism, complementing its work in combating terrorism financing and military operations, thereby advancing its comprehensive strategic objectives.
