“Almana Hospitals” launches over 40 health education campaigns during Ramadan to educate patients and visitors

As part of its commitment to promoting community health, “Almana Hospitals” launched over 40 health education campaigns during the holy month of Ramadan at its branches across the Eastern Region in Saudi Arabia. 

These campaigns aim to raise health awareness on vital topics related to physical and mental health, aligning with the hospital's ongoing dedication to providing the highest standards of awareness-raising healthcare.

Educational activities were scheduled throughout Ramadan, covering a variety of topics, including diabetes, nutrition, mental health, obesity, osteoporosis, kidney and eye wellness, and other medical specialties.

In this regard, Mr. Mana Almana, CEO of “Almana Hospitals”, stated that this initiative is part of the Hospital’s deep commitment to promoting health awareness among community members during the holy month of Ramadan, which presents an ideal opportunity to highlight important health issues.

Almana added that the goal of these campaigns is to highlight the latest developments in various healthcare fields, enabling patients and visitors to make informed health decisions that positively impact their health and daily lives. 

He emphasized that “Almana Hospitals” would continue to enhance its educational and preventative programs in the future to improve health awareness in the community and support disease control efforts. 



The campaign covered hospital branches across the region. At “Almana Hospital” in Khobar, medical consultations were provided on nutrition, diabetes, and women's health, covering over 150 patients. Awareness lectures were also organized at “Almana” Clinics in Al-Rakah on topics such as diabetes, obesity and kidney and mental health.

At “Almana Hospitals” in Al-Aziziah in Dammam, the focus was on obstetrics and gynecology, physiotherapy, sleep laboratory, and dentistry. At “Almana Hospital” in Jubail, the campaign included awareness lectures on obesity, diabetes, and kidney health. At “Almana Hospital” in Al Ahsa, lectures were given on diabetes, obesity, and nutrition, in addition to organizing a blood donation campaign that saw a large turnout of donors. At “Almana Hospital” in Dammam, the campaign also included awareness lectures on obesity, diabetes, and physiotherapy.

Notably, “Almana Hospitals” was established in 1949. It is the first private general hospital in the Eastern Province and one of the oldest and largest medical companies in the Gulf region.
