Al-Fatah Mosque in Madinah: Monument of Islamic History
Al-Fatah Mosque, located at the base of Mount Sila' is one of the historic seven mosques of Madinah connected to the Battle of the Trench. It was named Al-Fatah, meaning victory, as it served as a prayer site for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the battle and because "Surah Al-Fath" was revealed there.
Preserved throughout Islamic history for its religious and historical importance, the mosque attracts visitors to Madinah, particularly during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
Today, with its distinctive Islamic architecture, Al-Fatah Mosque stands as a symbol of the decisive victory that marked a turning point for Muslims in their battle against their enemies.
