Jazan Municipality Tops Kingdom's Municipalities in Volunteer Participation

Jazan Municipality ranked first among the Kingdom's municipalities in volunteer work during the first half of 2026, recording the participation of 57,775 volunteers across a wide range of community initiatives and volunteer opportunities.

 The achievement reflects the growing culture of volunteerism and the effectiveness of community programs implemented by the municipality in partnership with public, private, and non-profit sector entities.

 Volunteer initiatives covered a variety of fields, including tree planting and expanding vegetation cover, cleaning beaches, parks, and public facilities, improving the urban landscape and addressing visual pollution, community monitoring of municipal issues, as well as environmental, health, and social initiatives. The programs also included walking activities, food preservation projects, housing support, and volunteer services related to honoring the deceased.

 These efforts contributed to broadening community participation and enhancing the developmental impact of volunteer work across the region's governorates.
