Makkah Health Cluster Deploys Smart Watches to Remotely Monitor Recovering Cardiac Patients
The Cardiac Center at King Abdullah Medical City, a member of the Makkah Health Cluster, saved the lives of two pilgrims from Somalia and Senegal after delivering urgent specialized interventions for critical cardiac conditions.
To ensure their long-term recovery and continuous safety during the 1447 AH Hajj season, health authorities equipped both patients with smart medical watches upon hospital discharge to allow medical teams to remotely monitor vital signs and cardiac indicators in real time, enabling rapid response capabilities and seamless continuity of healthcare as the pilgrims complete their rituals.
