AMAD Becomes World’s Largest Fintech Hackathon, Sets Guinness Record

The second edition of the AMAD Fintech Hackathon, held in partnership between Tuwaiq Academy and Alinma Bank, set a new Guinness World Record as the world's largest fintech hackathon. The event brought together more than 6,000 participants, both in person and online, from over 2,800 teams across Saudi Arabia.

 The inaugural edition of the AMAD Hackathon set a Guinness World Record in 2025 as the largest hackathon held in Riyadh. Building on that achievement, the 2026 edition established a new global record as the world's largest fintech hackathon, reinforcing its position as a leading platform for fintech innovation in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
