Qassim Governor Receives Sri Lankan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Governor of the Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz today received Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Saudi Arabia Omar Lebbe Ameer Ajwad, currently on a visit to the region.

 The governor welcomed Ambassador Ajwad, commending Sri Lanka's participation in the Saudi Green Initiative. The prince noted that this step contributes to achieving the ambitious goals of the initiative, which aims to enhance sustainability, combat desertification, and preserve natural resources.

 During the meeting, the two sides held cordial talks and discussed issues of mutual interest.
