Saudi Pro League Reaches Strategic Partnership with World Football Summit

The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has announced a strategic partnership with the World Football Summit (WFS), set to take place on December 2 in Riyadh, featuring a distinguished lineup of global football leaders.
This partnership brings together SPL, organizer of one of the most rapidly evolving football leagues, and the summit, a leading platform for football business, to set new standards for football development worldwide.
SPL CEO Omar Mugharbel stressed that the partnership with WFS provides a platform where global football stakeholders are welcomed to the Kingdom, and which fosters mutual and shared growth opportunities. He highlighted that the collaboration will help showcase advancements, share expertise, and contribute to meaningful dialogue within the global football community.
Mugharbel said a significant turnout is expected, including top executives, players, and thought leaders from around the world, as well as hundreds of high-profile speakers.
WFS co-founder and Managing Director Jan Alessie said that the evolution of SPL "is one of modern football's most compelling stories".
"Their commitment to nurturing local talent while attracting global stars has created a unique model that deserves attention across the industry. This partnership will offer valuable insights to football executives worldwide," he said.
The key themes of this year's event align with the Saudi Vision 2030; they encompass the integration of technology in football, innovation in fan engagement, development of sports tourism, sustainability in football, growth of women's football, and youth development programs.
