Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Coordination Council Discusses Development Initiatives at Fourth Meeting

The Infrastructure Projects Coordination Council held its fourth meeting, chaired by CEO of the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center Eng. Fahad Al Badah, with the participation of representatives from government entities and service providers, as well as contractors, laboratories, and consulting offices operating in the infrastructure sector.
 The meeting opened with a speech by the CEO, followed by a review of the tasks from the previous meeting and an overview of the council's dashboard to monitor sector developments, the council's activities, and priority issues.
 During the meeting, the council discussed several development initiatives and topics, including the initiative to connect telecommunications towers. It also reviewed the specific requirements for contractors carrying out infrastructure projects and related provisions aimed at regulating operations and improving execution quality.
 The meeting also reviewed the service for printing as-built plans and its role in supporting the sector, in addition to discussing the latest developments regarding the infrastructure award, as part of efforts to promote excellence and encourage high-quality practices across the infrastructure projects ecosystem.
 The council underscored the importance of continued coordination and integration among all relevant entities and stakeholders, as well as monitoring the implementation of agreed-upon initiatives and outcomes to enhance operational efficiency, improve execution quality, and support the development of the infrastructure system in Riyadh Region.
 The Infrastructure Projects Coordination Council continues to serve as a platform bringing together various sector stakeholders to strengthen communication and coordination, exchange expertise, and discuss priority initiatives and challenges, supporting integrated efforts and the achievement of infrastructure development objectives in the region.
