The Kingdom’s Efforts in Serving the Two Holy Mosques and the Guests of the Merciful: A Model to Follow

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia takes immense pride in the great honor of being home to the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah. This is overseen directly by the Director of Public Security and the personnel of various security sectors, who form the first line of defense in protecting and securing the visitors.

Under the guidance of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and the efforts of Assistant Abdulaziz Al-Daoud, the Mayor of the Holy Capital, the Makkah Municipality presents a global model in managing urban services. This is supported by advanced infrastructure, including modern road networks to reduce congestion, integrated electricity and water systems, and a comprehensive waste management system that maintains the cleanliness of the holy sites. The Kingdom also provides a state-of-the-art communication network that supports instant communication and meets emergency needs, making the visitors' experience more seamless and secure.

With the influx of millions of Umrah pilgrims during Ramadan, the Kingdom intensifies its efforts through expansion projects of the Grand Mosque, the opening of bridges and tunnels to facilitate access to the Holy Mosque, and the enhancement of health and guidance services.
