
KSrelief Implements Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to Combat Blindness in Bangladesh
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to combat blindness and related diseases in Faridpur, Bangladesh, held from September 6 to 11, 2025, in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation (WSF).
The volunteer medical team of KSrelief examined 4,054 cases since the start of the campaign, performed 270 cataract surgeries, and distributed 800 eyeglasses.
This initiative falls within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the medical sector and assist low-income patients suffering from eye diseases in brotherly and friendly countries.
