Islamic Affairs Ministry Continues Iftar Meal Distribution in India, Neighboring Countries

The Religious Attaché in India is continuing to implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' programs for iftar and distribution of dates across India and its neighboring countries as part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs’ ongoing efforts during the holy month of Ramadan.
By mid-Ramadan, approximately 75,000 fasting individuals benefited from the two programs, while the date distribution initiative reached more than 100,000 vulnerable recipients, including the poor and disadvantaged.
The program is carried out through organized group iftar banquets, coordinated with Saudi embassies in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. It also involves partnerships with over 100 registered charitable organizations and prominent figures in these countries.
