KSrelief Provides 3 Firefighting Vehicles to Support Forest Firefighting in Syria’s Latakia
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered three new, advanced firefighting vehicles to Syria’s Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management to support efforts to combat forest fires in Latakia Governorate. The assistance is part of the emergency response project to provide the supplies, equipment, and vehicles needed to fight forest fires in the governorate.
Director of the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate in Latakia, Abdulkafi Kayyal, expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for this support, affirming that the vehicles will help combat forest fires in the governorate. He noted that the support will enhance civil defense capabilities, preserve vegetation cover, improve rapid emergency response, and strengthen the logistical capacity of field firefighting teams.
The assistance reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s longstanding role in standing alongside affected peoples during times of crisis, embodying its noble mission to extend a helping hand to brotherly and friendly countries worldwide.
