Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Electricity Blackout in Gaza as Collective Punishment

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s condemnation in the strongest terms of the Israeli occupation authorities’ use of collective punishment against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by cutting off electricity to the area. The Kingdom reaffirmed its categorical rejection of Israel’s violations of international humanitarian law.
 The Kingdom emphasized its call on the international community to take urgent actions to immediately and unconditionally restore electricity and ensure the flow of aid to Gaza, and renewed its call to activate international accountability mechanisms for these blatant violations.
