Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission Concludes Kingdom’s Participation in Doha International Book Fair 2026

The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission concluded the Kingdom’s participation in the Doha International Book Fair 2026, held from May 14 to 23 in Doha.

 The Kingdom’s participation featured a strong cultural and intellectual presence reflecting its growing stature in the literature, publishing, and translation sectors. It also underscored the Kingdom’s active role in the Arab and international cultural landscape.

 Chief Executive Officer of the commission Dr. Abdullatif Alwasel affirmed that the Kingdom’s participation in the Doha International Book Fair comes as an extension of the commission’s efforts to promote Saudi literary and intellectual production and highlight the transformations taking place in the Kingdom’s literature, publishing, and translation sectors.

 He noted that the Saudi pavilion presented a comprehensive picture of the Kingdom’s cultural movement and its rapid development under Saudi Vision 2030.
