On Behalf of HRH the Crown Prince, Foreign Minister Leads Saudi Delegation at Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah took part in the Gaza Peace Summit held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, aimed at ending the war in Gaza Strip and advancing efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.

 The summit was co-chaired by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, with the participation of several leaders and representatives of international organizations.

 At the outset of the summit, participants welcomed the agreement reached by the parties to the conflict in Gaza Strip, commended the efforts of President Trump and the mediating countries -- Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye -- and affirmed their support for all efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region.

 At the conclusion of the summit, the leaders of the U.S., Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye signed an agreement to end the war in Gaza, in a first step toward a comprehensive ceasefire, ensuring the continued flow of humanitarian aid, completing prisoner and hostage exchanges, and paving the way for future reconstruction efforts in Gaza Strip.

 The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan; Saudi Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt Saleh Al-Hussaini; Director General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ Office Waleed Al-Ismail; Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Manal Radwan; and Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Alyahya.
