'Falcons' Eye Third Title in Esports World Cup
The Saudi "Falcons" team continued their impressive journey in the ongoing Esports World Cup, the most prestigious gaming event globally, currently held in Riyadh.
The Falcons qualified for the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters tournament at Qiddiya Arena, featuring a total prize pool of $5 million.
With the qualification, the Saudi team sets their sights on the opportunity to achieve their third title in the Esports World Cup, having previously won the "Call of Duty: Warzone" and "Free Fire" tournaments. The Falcons topped Group A with four wins and two draws out of seven matches, asserting themselves as one of the leading competitors for the first-place prize of $1.5 million.
The Falcons continued their successful journey by defeating the Chinese team WBG.XG, setting up a semifinal match against the Canadian team Gaimin Gladiators.
