KSrelief Organizes Lab Technicians Training Workshop in Yemen's Taiz
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) held a workshop in Yemen’s Taiz Governorate to train central laboratory technicians on collecting and analyzing water and food samples as part of the cholera response project implemented in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population.
The training aimed to strengthen laboratory capacity and improve epidemic surveillance. Deputy Governor of Taiz for Health Affairs, Dr. Ilan Abdul Haq, emphasized the importance of such a workshop in enhancing technical skills and supporting efforts to prevent water- and food-borne diseases.
The initiative comes within KSrelief’s broader efforts to support Yemen’s health sector and advance technical capabilities in medical laboratories.
