Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetics Center in Yemen’s Taiz Provides Medical Services to 329 Beneficiaries in April

Supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the project for operating the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in the Yemeni Taiz Governorate provided its diverse medical services to 329 beneficiaries who lost their limbs among the Yemeni people during April 2024.

 During the month, 821 services were provided, with males accounting for 69% and females for 31%. Displaced individuals constituted 14% while residents made up 86% of the total beneficiaries.

 The services they received included prosthetic delivery, limb measurements, and maintenance, along with physical therapy services and specialized consultations.

 This comes within the framework of relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the KSrelief, to enhance the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
