Young Shaheen Falcon Sold on 19th Night of Saudi Falcons Club Auction
The 19th night of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025 was held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, coinciding with the annual falconry season in the Kingdom, which runs from October 1 to November 30.
During the event, a young Shaheen falcon — caught in Al-Muwailih by falconers Ali and Saleem Salem Al-Adaisani — was auctioned, starting at SAR40,000 before being sold for SAR71,000.
The auction serves as a key destination for locally captured falcons, reinforcing the Kingdom’s cultural heritage, passing falconry traditions to younger generations, and providing an economic opportunity for hundreds of participating falconers.
