The Presidency for Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques places significant emphasis on teaching the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, organizing circles to study the Quran and scholarly texts throughout the mosque's courtyards.
The echo of the beautiful recitation of the Quran by students of all ages creates a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere that brings tranquility and reassurance to listeners.
The presidency has dedicated qualified teachers and staff to guide students in Quran recitation, memorization, understanding, revision, and intensive memorization, as well as Ottoman calligraphy. There are also classes for students with disabilities.
The presidency has also established an online platform for distance learning, enabling students from all over the world to join online study circles.
The average daily number of in-person Quran study circles is 991, while online, they count 144, and an average of 13,055 students. There are also 543 in-person and 154 online circles focused on studying different scholarly texts; they count around 8,403 students.
