KSrelief-Supported Dialysis Center in Somalia Served 283 Patients in July
The Dialysis Center at Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia, continued providing medical services to beneficiaries with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
During July 2026, the center received 283 patients. Of these, 165 underwent 1,023 scheduled dialysis sessions and 11 emergency dialysis sessions, while 118 received consultations and medical examinations at the nephrology clinic. Males accounted for 58% of the patients and females 42%, while displaced persons accounted for 9%, residents 90%, and refugees 1%.
The services are part of the relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to enhance the capacity of the healthcare sector and help alleviate the suffering of the Somali people.
