Rafid Al-Haramain Initiative Trains over 35,000 Personnel to Serve Pilgrims during Hajj Season
Umm Al-Qura University, represented by its Institute of Research and Studies and Consulting Services, in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, implemented the third edition of the “Rafid Al-Haramain” initiative to qualify and train personnel serving pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season, as part of efforts to enhance workforce efficiency and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims, in partnership with several government, private, and non-profit entities.
The program delivered 348 specialized training courses, benefiting 35,240 trainees, totaling 3,123 training hours, while the number of beneficiary entities reached 50, reflecting institutional integration in serving pilgrims and alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at enhancing the pilgrim experience and improving service quality.
The program is part of the university’s initiatives to leverage its academic, research, and training expertise to support the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem, enhancing the readiness of national cadres and contributing to the development of services for pilgrims in line with the highest professional and organizational standards.
