A Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) delegation, led by Regulation and Competition Sector Deputy Governor Eng. Omar AlRejraje, participated in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, organized by the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3 to 6.
Through its participation, CST aimed to reinforce its leading role in accelerating Saudi Arabia’s digital economy, exchanging expertise, discussing trends and innovations, and exploring cutting-edge technologies. The event also served as a platform for bilateral meetings with global companies, fostering collaboration in the communications and technology sector.
As part of the conference’s ministerial program, Strategy and Sustainability General Manager Eng. Abdulaziz Altamrah participated in a roundtable discussion titled “Advancing Digital Inclusion Towards a Connected Future.”
In a strategic initiative to enhance the global presence of Saudi products, CST collaborated with the Saudi Export Development Authority to facilitate the participation of Saudi companies in international pavilions at the event. The aim was to highlight the Kingdom’s high competitiveness and create opportunities for global market expansion.
