Municipalities Ministry Prepares Over 4,500 Volunteers to Serve Pilgrims During Hajj 1447 AH

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, through its regional municipalities, has prepared more than 4,500 volunteers to participate in serving pilgrims during Hajj season 1447 AH, as part of its efforts to enhance the readiness of the municipal volunteering system at vital locations and improve municipal service efficiency during the season.
The ministry stated that the municipal volunteering system is part of a plan targeting more than 20,000 volunteers to assist in receiving pilgrims through land and air entry points, preparing municipal facilities, carrying out volunteer work at the holy sites, and supporting departure stages across operational tracks, including guidance, assistance, site support, and support for municipal teams.
The ministry affirmed that municipal volunteering efforts are part of an integrated service system implemented by relevant entities during the Hajj season, as an extension of the care and attention given by the Saudi government to pilgrims, and the mobilization of all capabilities to serve them from arrival in the Kingdom until their departure.
