Umm Al-Qura’s Electronic Quran Maqraah Serves over 15,000 Learners from 88 Countries in 2025
The Electronic Maqraah of Umm Al-Qura University achieved a notable milestone in 2025 by teaching Quran recitation in accordance with the rules of tajweed and providing immediate correction by experienced reciters and instructors through an integrated electronic learning system.
Annual statistics showed that the number of beneficiaries of the Maqraah’s services reached 15,201 male and female students from 88 countries across Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, North America, and South America.
During the year, a total of 80 male and female instructors participated in delivering these educational services, contributing to the recitation of 23,229 pages of the Holy Quran over 3,424 hours, ensuring accurate pronunciation, proper articulation of letters, and correct application of tajweed rules.
The Maqraah invited interested individuals to register through its website, affirming its commitment to developing its educational programs and expanding its services in the coming years.
