
KSrelief Launches Shelter, Winter Aid Project in Pakistan for 2025
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched a project in Islamabad, Pakistan, to distribute shelter materials and winter aid for 2025, attended by the Kingdom's Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, Pakistan’s Minister of Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain, and other officials.
The initiative involves the distribution of 84,500 shelter bags to flood-affected individuals and 50,000 winter bags to those enduring extreme cold in Pakistan’s coldest regions, benefiting a total of 591,500 people.
Ambassador Al-Malki emphasized that this project is carried out under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted that the initiative reflects the Saudi leadership’s commitment to supporting the Pakistani people and embodies the strong fraternal ties between the two nations.
Minister Hussain expressed the gratitude of the Pakistani government and people to the Saudi leadership for its continuous humanitarian support. He noted the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries and commended KSrelief and its team for their ongoing efforts to assist Pakistani families in need.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian efforts, led by KSrelief, to support vulnerable and disaster-affected communities worldwide and alleviate their suffering.
