Masam Project Helps Clear 720 Mines in Yemen
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project, which focuses on clearing mines in Yemen, successfully dismantled 720 mines in various regions in the fourth week of October. Cleared were 29 anti-personnel mines, 21 anti-tank mines, and 670 unexploded ordnances.
Since the project began, a total of 467,431 mines have been cleared.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains committed to removing all mines from Yemeni territory, as they cause loss of life and injuries to innocent people.
